Sukkot
סוכות
Sukkot is celebrated annually, for seven days, beginning on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei, typically falling in September or October.

The seven days represent the seven Sephirot in the Tree of life.
On Sukkot, it is traditional to build a small reed hut called a Sukkah סוכות.
The Sukkah commemorates the temporary dwellings the Israelites lived in during their 40-year journey through the wilderness after the Exodus from Egypt.

During the seven-day festival it is customary to eat meals in the Sukkah סוכה.  Families also spend time relaxing or even sleeping in the Sukkah to embrace divine protection even in a small reed hut.
