Archangels
In Kabbalah there are 12 Archangels.
5 of the Archangels are major.
They control spiritual and physical energies of the universe.
Man contains the energy of physicality as well as spiritual energy.
The 5 Major Archangels
The highest level Archangel is Metatron.
He controls all the energy in the universe.
He resides in Keter.
Four major archangels control the energies in the North, the East, the West and the South
“NEWS”
Uriel controls the energy of the Northern sector; his name means the Light of God.
He represents midday.
He resides in Malkut.
Raphael controls the energy of the Eastern sector; his name means God’s healer.
He represents sunrise.
He resides in Hod.
Gabriel controls the energy of the Western sector; his name means Love.
He represents sunset.
He resides in Yesod.
Michael controls the energy of the Southern sector; his name means the Fire of God.
He represents the power of the sun.
He resides in Tiferet.
Raziel, Tzaphkiel, Tzadkiel, Chamuel, Haniel control the energies of the sephirot in which they reside.
Sandalphon resides with Uriel in Malkut.
